Part 2

That Jesus Christ knew the ancient mysteries means that He too was a Shiite-Batinid. For according to the Qur’an, there is no veil between the Batinids and God; only they know the secrets of creation (37).

The Islamic symbol Shia is known in ancient Egyptian texts as the god Shu, signifying the soul, the heart of the ancient Egyptian god Ra-Amon. The Jews called the spirit Shu – Ieshua, and the Christians – Jesus. Therefore, the Shiites are the followers of Ieshua, i.e. Jesus Christ. Moreover, according to the Qur’an, the first Shiites were the prophet Noah and the patriarch of the Jews, Abraham (38).

The great Sufi Muhyiddin Ibn Arabi calls Jesus, instead of the Shiite Imam Ali, the Seal of Absolute Walayah – thus indicating that the functions of imamology and Christology coincide (39).

Ibn Arabi understands the symbol of “heir” as referring to Jesus Christ and His image, who was created by Allah’s command “Kun!” (“Be!”). According to the Qur’an, after Adam, Allah created only Isa, that is, Jesus, directly by His command “Kun!”. And according to hadith, the Prophet Muhammad considered Isa, the son of Maryam, close to him. This indicates that Muhammad himself perceived Jesus in the image of Imam Ali.

As we have already noted, in Islam the House of Gel, Gulat [GLT], belongs to the Shiites, who consider Imam Ali to be Allah. If we take into account that in the bird language the symbol Ali [L] is in fact the divine El [L], then it follows that the heavenly kingdom – El – was created precisely in Gilead.

In the Turkic monument of Moyun Chor, it is said that the wise Turkic khagan Tolis transformed the primordial matter into El, that is, he created in the heavens the kingdom of spirits (40). This means that the image of the Shiite Imam Ali is the image of the heavenly kingdom of spirits (Eden-Adam), which Pharaoh Amon created on the land of Gel, i.e., in Hilat/Gilead.

In Mesopotamian sources, the symbol El is connected with the Amorites (Il-Amurru), who revered the moon-god Sin, whose original dwelling was on the summit of the divine mountain beyond the Zagros (41). In Islam, whose symbol is the Moon, the Shiite Imam Ali is also called – Ali Amir al-Mu’minun. The word amir in ancient sources is written as “Amorite” and means ruler, prince, sovereign, etc. Thus, amirs, Amorites, and emirs were a lineage of rulers. The symbol amir/Amorite [MR] is identical to the symbol amr [MR], i.e. Allah’s command. In the works of the Sufi al-Ghazali, the symbol amr represents an ideal essence, through which “Allah executes His will.” Thus, through the Amorites, Allah fulfills His commands. And the symbols Ali and El are images of the ancient Egyptian god Ra-Amon, who is united with the primordial matter and creates in its name.

The Shiite-Ismailis who lived in the land of Gel (Hilat/Gilead) were also called Nizarites. According to the sources, Nizar is “the pride of the race; he is alive, but unseen. He lives forever and reigns” (42). Therefore, Nizar is the image of the eternally living God. Such was the ancient Egyptian god Asar/Usir/Osiris. In Egyptian texts, the symbol Asar/Usiri/Osiri was linked to the city of Ane (Iunu/On) and was called Nu-Usiri/Nu-Osiri [N-SR/N-ZR], i.e., Nisir/Nizar. Thus, the symbol Nizar means “the god Osiri (Usiri/Osiris), dwelling in the city of Iunu/Nu.”

According to both the Memphite and Heliopolitan cosmogonies, the “Ennead of Atum” – the Nine Gods – dwelt in the city of Ane, i.e. Nu/Iunu (No/On). According to the prophet Nahum, the city of No-Amon was “situated among the rivers, surrounded by waters, whose wall was the sea, whose rampart was the sea itself” (43). And Jeremiah states that Amon is in the city of No (44). In Armenian texts, the symbol No corresponds to the city Ani, which belonged to the Shahanshah, the “king of kings.” The symbol No in other sources is also written as On, and according to B.A. Turaev, the Egyptian On is Hermonthis (Armant – Armenia) (45). On (in Coptic and ancient Egyptian, “sun, light”; Gen. 41:45 and others) was considered the Egyptian city of the sun. Its other name is Heliopolis, the City of the Sun. If we understand that the city of On/Iunu is the same as Gel, i.e. Heliopolis, it becomes clear that the Nizarites were the inhabitants of Gel, that is, of Jerusalem. From this it follows that the Nizarite Assassins were in fact the true Templars.

From the sources of the 13th century it is known that the founder of the Assassins, Hasan ibn Sabbah, headed the Ismaili state of Kuhistan in Iran (46). The capital of this state was the fortress of Alamut. Arab sources call the inhabitants of Alamut melahim (malik/malek), al-mulhidun (malakut), i.e. angels, and their land the Land of Angels, Malakut (Heb. Malkhut). The symbol Kuhistan, in the bird language, is deciphered as the Land of Kuh, where this symbol has the meaning “Haq,” i.e. God. Therefore, Kuhistan means “Land of the Gods.” And the symbol Alamut, in the bird language, means “El-Muta,” i.e. the “World of Atum” or “Land of Media,” etc. It is known that Hasan ibn Sabbah created in Alamut a paradise. Thus, Kuhistan itself was the heavenly kingdom of spirits.

In Christian sources, the symbol Nizar [NZR] is written as Nazareth [NZR-T] and is known because the Lord Jesus was from Nazareth. And the symbol Nazorite [NZR], according to the Bible, refers to those people who dedicated their lives to God (47). Such were also the extreme Ismaili Shiites who believed in Ali. Therefore, the biblical Nazorites were the same Nizarite angels, living on the territory of Azerbaijan.

The extreme Ismaili Shiites, known as Ghulat (Gel), who believe in Ali, do not accept the death of Ali and await his return. They regard Ali as God (Ali-Ilahi), and according to them, at the end of time it is he who will appear with his own special Qur’an, the content of which was known only to a very small number of shaykhs and dervishes. According to the doctrine of “Ali-Ilahi,” the Prophet Muhammad is a messenger and admonisher who manifested in the person of Ali (48).

Among the Freemasons, the symbol of Ali is known as Elijah. Like Ali, the biblical Elijah did not die but was taken alive into the heavens in a fiery chariot. According to Paracelsus, all hidden mysteries will be revealed only with the coming of Elijah the Master. In his Book of the Tincture of the Philosophers, Paracelsus wrote: “There are still many secrets related to transmutation, which are known to very few, for even when they are revealed to someone, they do not at once become common property. Together with the Art, the Lord gives wisdom to preserve it in secrecy until the coming of Elijah the Master. Then the hidden will be made manifest.” He also wrote: “After me will come one whose glory the world does not yet know, but to whom it is destined to reveal much… My book precedes Elijah and must prepare the royal path for the Master…” (49). Following Paracelsus, the Brotherhood of the Rosy Cross also regarded Elijah as the prophet of the coming universal reformation. The alchemist Johann Rudolf Glauber believed that “Elijah the Master will restore the genuine alchemical magic of ancient Egyptian philosophy, which was lost more than a thousand years ago—he will bring it with him and reveal it to the world.”

All of this suggests that the sons of Gul, who knew the language of the birds, were the descendants of the Shiite angels of the House of Gel, possessing hidden knowledge.

According to the Qur’an, Allah chooses His messengers from among the angels (50). And the lineage of angels, as we have already noted, is the lineage of the Gels. The symbol of Gilead [GLD], Ghulat [GLT], in the sources is also written as Kolyada [KLD]. In Russian texts, the symbol Kolyada is known for the prophecy that the Messiah will come precisely from Kolyada. Thus, the land of the Gels—Gilead, Ghulat—is the homeland of all messengers, that is, prophets.

According to Plato, the progenitor of the Atlanteans was the god Poseidon, who united with a mortal woman, Cleito, who bore him ten divine sons led by the eldest, Atlas. Between them he divided the island, and they became the founders of its royal lineages (51). The symbol Cleito [KLT] in meaning is identical with the symbols Gilead/Hilat/Celt [GLD/HLT/KLT], and so forth. This indicates that not only the prophets but also all the kings of the ancient world were descendants of Gel, of Gilead.

The historian Movses Khorenatsi, in his History of Armenia, associates the symbol Gel with the clan Gelar-Kuni, and calls the Gelarites the great and eminent lineage of Sisak, i.e., the Scythian kings (52). From the symbols Gel-Sisak came the symbol Anglo-Sax. It is believed that the Anglo-Saxons were the Germanic tribes of the Angles and Saxons. The symbol German means Hor-Amon and is deciphered as “Followers of Horus of the lineage of Pharaoh Amon.”

The symbol Kuni [KN] in the language of the birds is identical with the symbol Nun-ki [NN-K] (“place of might”), which is also written as Enki [NK]. These symbols relate to the first royal capital of Sumer and the residence of the god of the abyss. Here, in the sacred quarter of Babylon, stood Eridu—the temple dedicated to Marduk. Another name for this temple was E-Sagila, also known as the ziggurat Etemenanki (Atum-NunKi)—“The Bond of Heaven and Earth” (“The House, the Foundation of Heaven and Earth”).

David Rohl, in his book The Lost Testament, writes that the Sumerians of Eridu elevated the mortal king Enmer-Kar to divine status under the name Asar, the “son” of Enki. The Assyrians, whose name derives from Asar, revered Enmer/Asar as the god-protector of their state, Assur. The name Asar was translated as “mighty” and written with a hieroglyph consisting of a royal throne and the all-seeing eye.

The symbol Enmer [NMR], in the language of the birds, is deciphered as Ra-Amon [RMN], while the symbol Kara corresponds to Kor, i.e., the solar god Horus. Thus, the god Ra-Amon-Horus was renamed as the god Asar, i.e., Osiris. In Sufism, the symbol Asar is interpreted as “Issi Ra,” meaning “the spirit of the solar god Ra.” Indeed, the symbol Ra-Amon means “the soul of Pharaoh Amon united with the solar disk Ra.” And the symbol Horus is in the meaning of “the Sun Ra, created from the primordial matter” (the consonants G, K, Kh [Hu], etc. are symbols of the primordial matter). All of this indicates that the god Asar (Osiris/Osiri) is the spirit of Pharaoh Amon, who attained immortality through metamorphosis.

According to D. Rohl, the symbols Misir and Mizraim (Egypt) mean “descended from Asar (Osiris).” Asar was the leader of the Mesopotamian conquerors who invaded the Nile Valley (53). D. Rohl writes: “The Egyptians had their own myths and legends about the founding of civilization, originally not connected with the Nile Valley. These were legends of the followers of Horus, who came from afar and brought civilization to Ancient Egypt. In the Egyptian creation myth, there was mention of a distant place in the East, where the sun rises—a fiery island rising from the waters of the primordial abyss, where the Shebtiu built their first temple. This was Eridu, the ‘place of might,’ where the temple of Abzu was erected, from which the tribes of Kush and Mizraim (Masri) set out to colonize the Nile Valley” (54). Other scholars (such as the English Egyptologist Hornblower) also noted that Osiris/Osiri was not originally an Egyptian deity but a “stranger” from the Near East (55). This indicates that the tribe of Mizraim, i.e., the “descendants of Asar,” came from the East, from the fiery island.

The symbol “East” is connected with the philosophy of Ishraq of the great Azerbaijani philosopher Shihab al-Din Yahya Suhrawardi. In his works, naturally, it does not refer to the geographic East, but to the metaphysical East, the East of the Spirit. Henry Corbin noted that Suhrawardi’s esotericism understands the East as the spiritual world of the Origin—Malakut (literally, “The Abode of Angels”) (56). We have already mentioned that the land of the angels, Malakut (Hebrew Malkhut), was located on the territory of Media—in the fortress of Alamut. Later, this land was called the land of Azer, i.e., Azerbaijan. The symbol Azer in the Pahlavi language means “fire,” and in the sources Azerbaijan was called “the land of fires.” Consequently, the tribe of Mizraim, the descendants of Asar, were migrants from ancient Azerbaijan. Even today, in the territory of Azerbaijan, near the city of Ardabil, one finds settlements whose names are connected with the symbol Asar: Peshtasar, Pirasar, Kurdasar, Bilasar, Luvasar, Shaglasar, and others.

The renowned French philosopher René Guénon, in his article The Language of the Birds, notes that the language of the birds is the language of the angels who dwell in paradise. Therefore, Islamic tradition maintains that Adam in the earthly paradise spoke in a rhymed language, that is, in the Syriac dialect (loghah suryaniyah). Guénon writes: “…the ‘Adamic’ language was the ‘Syriac language,’ loghah suryaniyah, which has nothing to do with the country called Syria, nor with any of the more or less ancient languages preserved in human memory down to our own time. This loghah suryaniyah is, according to the interpretation of its name, the language of ‘solar illumination,’ shems-ishraqyah; indeed, Surya is the Sanskrit name of the Sun, and this could indicate that its root ‘Sur,’ one of those denoting light, itself belonged to that primordial language. It is thus a question of that primordial Syria, of which Homer speaks as an island located ‘beyond Ogygia,’ which makes it identical with the Hyperborean Thule, where the ‘complete revolution of the Sun’ takes place. According to Josephus, the capital of this land was called Heliopolis, the ‘city of the Sun’; this same name was later given to a city in Egypt, also called On, just as Thebes was above all one of the names of the capital of Ogygia” (57).

From Guénon’s words it follows that the language of the birds is the language of the Solar God Ra, written as Asar, i.e., Issi-Ra—“the Spirit of the God Ra.” And the symbol Sur [SR] (suryaniyah) is identical with the symbol Asar [SR]. Thus, the Syriac (Ishraq/Sharq—East) language is the language of Asar, i.e., the God Osiris (Oziri).

René Guénon further writes: “Presenting the metaphysical principle of the ‘science of letters’ (in Arabic, ʿIlm al-Ḥurūf), Sayyidi Muhyiddin (Ibn ʿArabi), in the al-Futūḥāt al-Makkiyya, considers the universe as symbolized by a book: this is the well-known symbol of the Liber Mundi of the Rosicrucians, as well as the Liber Vitae of Revelation. The letters in this book are simultaneously and indivisibly inscribed by the ‘Divine Pen’ (al-Qalam al-Ilāhī); these ‘transcendent writings’ are eternal essences or divine ideas; and since every letter is at the same time also a number, one can immediately notice the correspondence of this doctrine with the Pythagorean teaching. These very same ‘transcendent writings’ are also all created beings, initially condensed in the divine omniscience, then, by divine breath, transferred to the lower levels, they composed and formed, shaping the manifested Universe. Here one is reminded of the role played by letters in the cosmogonic doctrine of the Sefer Yetzirah; the ‘science of letters,’ moreover, has approximately the same significance in Jewish Kabbalah and in Muslim esotericism” (58).

By the term “manifested universe” is meant the universe transformed by Pharaoh Amon. It manifested itself in the form of Adam (ancient Egyptian Atum), of whom the Torah says: “…God created man (Adam) upon the earth, and from one end of heaven to the other end of heaven…” (59). If we take into account that the Garden of Eden was located upon the body of the Cosmic Adam (the manifested universe), then we must agree that the Syriac language is the language of the primordial matter from which the Cosmic Adam manifested. This means that this language is at the same time the language of angels, i.e., the language of human souls who attained immortality in the Garden of Eden.

According to Nicholson, who studied the works of the Sufi al-Ghazali, it is precisely the Prophet Muhammad who is the Heavenly Man, created in the image of God and regarded as the Cosmic Power upon which the order and preservation of the universe depend (60). In the book of the Hurufi Sufi Fazlullah Astarabadi, Javidan-nama, it is stated that the Kaaba, Dar al-Salam, and Bayt al-Muqaddas (Jerusalem) are located in the body of Adam. And the Prophet Muhammad is the world, which, according to the Torah, was created in six days. Muhyiddin Ibn ʿArabi further notes that the “Muhammadan Reality” (al-Ḥaqīqah al-Muḥammadiyyah) is the first true being—the Man. According to Ibn ʿArabi, God, as the Possessor of His glorious Names, infinite in number, desired to see their embodiment in a certain collective being that would encompass the entire cosmic order, possessing the attribute of existence, and through it to reveal to Himself His own secret. And He created Adam as His image in the form of the Cosmic Man (61).

Thus, the Prophet Muhammad is the image of the Cosmic God, whose body encompasses all beings, and the Islamic, or Salimic, world was created upon His body. And the fact that this manifested Universe was created precisely by divine breath reminds us of the ancient Egyptian God Ptah.

According to ancient Egyptian texts, Pharaoh Amon, equating himself with Nun, i.e., the primordial waters (the primordial matter), under the name Ptah created Atum (Adam). Ptah creates the world and the gods by the power of his divine word. The creative power of God is His heart and the thoughts and desires generated by the heart, uttered by the mouth of Amon. The idea “arose in the heart” of Amon: this heart or mind was Ptah; then the idea “arose upon the tongue” of Amon: this tongue or speech was Ptah himself, and so on.

From the Heliopolitan doctrine of creation it follows that the cosmos represented a chain of generations, where some natural phenomena gave rise to others. “In the midst of the primordial waters of Nun (Naun) rose upon a mound the supreme Atum (Adam), whose name could be interpreted as ‘the All.’ From himself Atum produced the pair Shu and Tefnut—Air and Moisture. From them was born the second pair—Geb and Nut—Earth and Sky. They in turn begot the gods Osiris (Asar), Isis, Seth, and Nephthys. And this Ennead of gods constitutes Atum, who was created precisely through the mouth of the god Ptah. Within this Ennead is Osiris, i.e., Asar, who according to the sources was born as a mighty sovereign, a God.”

David Rohl also calls the Sumerian god Asar—Asar-Luhi (62). The symbol Luhi in Sufism is identical with the symbol Leg, which, according to sources, was a Cadusian tribe living in the territory of ancient Media (63). Strabo calls the Legs and Gels Scythian tribes (64).
